I may be able to make a contribution to the archive. Recently, I've stumbled across (almost?) every animation I have ever made, along with more than 400 animations from other animators that I had saved. I'll find a way to upload them and share the link here. mega.nz is good for uploading stuff in my experience. be good to see the stuff you have

I may be able to make a contribution to the archive. Recently, I've stumbled across (almost?) every animation I have ever made, along with more than 400 animations from other animators that I had saved. For shits & giggles I attempted to log into Photobucket, where I believe my final animations were uploaded. The saved user/password I had in my browser didn't work, but to my amazement - resetting my password and logging in did work! and I was met with this: Wow... just slurp my entire scrotum, Photobucket. I'd love to see the market research that convinced them to go the paid-only route when fully-featured image hosts like Imgur & Imgbb exist. I make regular use of each's API with ease. In fact, to obtain the direct Imgur link above, I merely copied the image to my clipboard and clicked a button on the little suite of personal tools I created. My primitive VB.net skills won't land me a job anytime soon, but they've proven invaluable for automating small tasks like this. Wouldn't be possible without Imgur's super easy API though! Imgbb is both my backup (when Imgur's glitching up or whatever) and used to quickly create a mirror in direct link form, when sites redirect direct links to pages w/ads on them or whatever. Reddit was the latest to do that so fuck 'em. Any time I want to share an image from Reddit, I just copy the URL to my clipboard & click my Imgbb button... voila! Oh wow, one of Photobucket's touted features is Carbon-neutral memory management. Pardon me for a moment while I attempt to give the slightest of shits. It's kinda funny, I just assumed those Photobucket links no longer worked due to Photobucket perhaps setting their servers to auto-delete any content that isn't accessed after a certain amount of time. That I could understand, server space isn't free after all. But this? Absurd.
